Lindsay Wine Estate 'Evensong' Riesling 2018, Barossa Valley
Lindsay Wine Estate is named after the great Australian artist Sir Lionel Lindsay whose works focussed on the early Australian pioneers who explored and worked the land. In the 1940’s Lindsay formed a friendship with a man named Bill Bolton and today, in the Barossa Valley, Bolton’s grandson Will and his team continue to work the land creating a premium range of estate-grown wines.
The wine shows classic lifted notes of citrus rind, apple and mineral characters. The palate is focused and linear, and finishes with a crisp, natural acid finish.
Enjoy in its youth or cellar for up to 10 years for a more complex style.
Suggested food pairings include seafood and spicy dishes.
